Board your elegant Dahabiya in Luxor. Visit the magnificent Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple, then settle into your private suite as you set sail south along the Nile.
Day 2 :
Esna & Sail to Edfu
Sail past the countryside to Esna, home to the beautifully decorated Temple of Khnum. Continue south, enjoying the tranquillity of the river, to moor near Edfu for the night.
Day 3 :
Edfu & Kom Ombo
Explore the remarkably preserved Temple of Horus at Edfu with your Egyptologist guide. Then sail to Kom Ombo to visit the unique double temple of Sobek and Haroeris, continuing onward toward Aswan.
Day 4 :
Aswan: Philae & the High Dam
Arrive in Aswan. Visit the island temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and see the Aswan High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk. Enjoy a traditional felucca sail around Elephantine Island at sunset.
Day 5 :
Abu Simbel & Farewell
Take an optional early excursion to the colossal temples of Abu Simbel. After returning, enjoy a final brunch on board before your Dahabiya cruise concludes and you are transferred onward.
